The Grove was a grade II listed property in the centre of the Village. Works included a small single storey extension, several areas of remodelling the internal layout including chimney removal, old pantry into a utility room and conversion of a small flat roof garage. External finishes included retaining walls patio areas, paths and decoration. Works were overseen by a local architect and completed on an open book basis and to a pre-determined budget, this resulted in more works to be completed than in the original schedule of works and priced works.
