Berridge & Company were undertaking works next door but one, we were pleasantly impressed by the team’s very tidy, conscientious and pleasant manner. Being new to the area and with two young children and having had a very poor experience with building works in London we were nervous of choosing a Builder to complete our small two storey extension in East Woodhay. Berridge & Company were on time on budget and were lovely to have around especially with our two young children at the time. We now have a finished wonderful job and now Steve & his team have finished it has taken a while to adjust…. dare we say we miss them now they’ve gone!

We purchased Hilltop Cottage as a rundown cottage with the view of completely renovating and extending it. Steve’s design input was invaluable as he understood fully our wish not to spoil the typical charm and character in the old parts of the building and cleverly suggested ideas for the new parts which helped blend the overall build to look as one. His helpful and pragmatic approach helped us make decisions which in the long run must have helped us spend our budget more wisely. Steve and all the team at Berridge and co including his subcontractors were a pleasure to have on site; they were polite, courteous, and tidy and worked hard to deliver our beautiful new home. The team just seemed to understand our goals and definitely have a talent for old property and delivering great value to the project. Inevitably we did encounter a few hic ups (the project was over about a year!) but Steve was swift to solve these problems and always engaged with a positive can do attitude. When we have saved up some more funds we will definitely have Berridge and co back for phase 2!
