Spring cottage was a pretty Grade II listed thatched cottage near Boxford. We undertook the complete renovation of the existing cottage with a conversion of the old cart shed into a basement level bedroom with ensuite, and extension to incorporate the new kitchen entered via a glazed link. Works included new water and mains drainage connection, re wire electrics and new oil fired boiler to run under floor / central heating. The front roof had to be propped to allow the structural works including conservation of original bread oven and underpinning. We assisted with the choice of traditional complementary finishes and new kitchen.
